Grad Nite 2011

MK. Dates are still to be determined because of the crazy late easter next year (April 24). It will most likely be one early (pre-easter) weekend and one late (post-easter) weekend.

Dates are finalized now, but I can't remember off the top of my head which weekends... it's one weekend in April and one weekend in May. If I remember I'll check tomorrow and re-post later.

OH and tell your teacher/senior class advisor to ask the Grad Nite sales team about staying on property this year. There are some new benefits added just for Grad Nite groups this year that are worth it.

Is it worth it to go? It's my senior year, but it sounds like it will be jam packed if its only on 2 weekends.

it has always been only held two weekends a year. If your school decides to participate in it by all means go for it. Especially as a Disney fan you will be able to enjoy your favorite attractions with a cast devoted just to grads. Some attractions aren't open for it: treehouse (for obvious reasons), Jungle Cruise, tiki, bears, etc.
Whenever I work grad nite and doing my safety spiel I would always start it, "Attention all seniors and GED recipients!"I would always get back, "Yo we graduatin' this year!" my answer would always be, "Let's hope! A lot can happen in two months!"
usually half way through the night you see a lot of the teens start to Peter out and spend the rest of the night on any empty bench they can find and it's m
and the chaperones hitting the attractions hardcore is not out of the norm.
As a Disney fan you will have a good time showing a friend that might not have as much Disney knowledge or experience as you around plus with all the special entertainment offerings that will be new to you.

I went to grad nite 08 and it was totally worth it :) granted there will be lots of lines but atleast it's at night so it's not really hot plus no strollers being jammed into your ankles :D go for it!!

While I encourage grad nite for all who can get there, I also would like to remind those students that are staying on property to remember that there are other young guests sharing the same foodcourts, pools, arcades, shops etc. 2008 at the Pop Century my 6 and 2 year olds got an education of their own from the crew staying there with us. Let's just say a little less than magical.

I went in 2000 and had a lot of fun. A lot of the night was a big blur though. I only remember certain things. Like the 2 hour wait for Space Mountain that quickly turned into a 15 minute wait when everyone got off the line to get a FastPass because "it's a shorter wait that way!"

Also it's fun to look back and remember Jessica Simpson performing and mentioning "my sister is one of my backup dancers." I still have my Grad Nite Mickey Ears as well
