How do they shoot out the light on the gangster scene in the great movie ride. (the red light)

How did they extend the cord tinkerbell flies on from the castle to over the Tomorrow land terrace?

The light is just done with a sound effect coupled with the light turning off....your mind does the rest....


I'm guessing they extended the cable after hours with a crane or something?

well I know it is sound effects and the light turning off what I want to know is how is it timed so pefrectly??

Most likely the gun uses an infrared signal to turn off the light.
