I just downloaded Google Earth and i can locate Orlando, Florida but cannot find Walt Disney World for the life of me! Does anyone know the general location of Walt Disney World in Orlando?

It's not in Orlando.

If i recall, 32830 should get you closer.

Follow interstate 4 between Tampa and Orlando - it's right where HWY 192 meets I-4.

I found it by accident myself by there are great shots of the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The shots over Animal Kingdom and Studios are a bit blurred but you can get an idea of the area. Do a search for Disney World and floolw the tabs to it

I got this information from another thread, so I have not verified it. The thread said the Google Earth co-ordinates are 28*25'24.55 by 81*34'52.48 for an area directly behind MK. The thread was about fireworks launch locations.

Nope, there's no need for one. Just about everything is within walking distance from everything else.

Nope, no monorail. It has been discussed (mainly by fans) but as Hank said, the furthest walk from a hotel to the parks is 15 minutes. A bus network serves those who don`t want to walk (very efficient, with new `bendy` busses) and a travelator / speedramp network serves the day parking.

I've tried to see the monorail in the photo's used by Google Earth, but I can't find them.... I thought it was easy to find. But, then again, having been there a lot in the last 8 years makes it easier to know what to look for. ;)

These coordinates will work better. Just copy and paste the entire line into the fly to box and it will take you right there.

I found it by looking up an adress close to it and scrolling around. The onkly problem is if you didnt buy the full google earth version you can only see Epcot and the MK, as well as the marketplace. You wont be able to see MGM or any of the waterparks.
