Any thoughts that they may use this empty area temporarily for the DL celebration. Sort of like they did the One Man's Dream in MGM. I also remember seeing the holiday show with Goofy and Chip and Dale, maybe they are just getting ready for another holiday show while the crowds are down.

I personally didn't think the show was so bad...especially for the under 7 crowd. I only saw it once when it first opened and it didn't have staying power for me but the kids and everyone with kids seemed to love the show. It's amazing how many people have said they hated it or refused to see it and still comment negatively on it.
The fact is that entertainment spending at WDW is at an all-time low and they see no need to spend money on staged entertainment. I'm not sure why and it's a huge frustration for me but that's the facts. DL, DLP and TDL all spend big budgets on entertainment. Excluding fireworks and December, WDW doesn't.

supposed to feature Toy Story 2's Jessie, Woody and Bullseye --

What do you think about this idea?
I never saw the original show or Goofy's so I don't really have an opinion on that discussion. (but I've enjoyed this discussion) :wave:

Unfortunately never saw the original and also unfortunately did see the Goofy mistake. Sadly, if they do a Toy Story version I feel you'll probably see a cookie cutter version of the Goofy show only slightly modified to try to "fit" the characters. I hold little hope for this version either. The lame brains who are the bean counters at Disney have forgotten one very important axiom: "you have to spend money to make money." This should be followed by: "Spend your money wisely." Lately Disney either doesn't spend the money or spends it on the dumbest things. IMHO.
Oh dear... I saw the Woody's Roundup show in Disneyland Park when it ran over there. In short, I hated it. Though the burgers there were noticeably better than the bugers here in WDW... but that's another story. If we're getting the old DL show, well, don't get your hopes up. LOL. One of the oddest parts was that half of the show was in black and white... I mean, the characters were in black and white. The costumes were. Umm, it wasn't a good show, so hopefully we won't get that here. Oh well.tigsmom said:
