Well, I just got off the phone with a performer friend of mine. The announcement has been made to the cast, that effective next Saturday, Goofy's Country Jamboree is gone as of next Saturday. Reasons... budget :rolleyes

Don't shoot the messenger for this one.

Hmm.. I'm not sure what to think about this

I liked the old show much better... But, kids seem to like this one... Maybe if they served food there, it would pay for itself?

BTW Rob... I don't think you have to worry about being shot... maybe you should be more worried about being hugged or something?

It was not that popular. I saw it a few times and i never cared for it, something better needed to go there.....

I think if they could turn it into to another good dinner show or something I think it would really work, something like show over at Fort Wilderness Lodge.......Other than that i have no idea.

ummmmmm.....just guessing here, but ....nothing???

After sitting empty for about 3 years it will become another shopping opportunity.

(as a matter of fact, I DID take my crabby pills this morning!)

I have a great idea!

How's about I headline my own variety show there for a couple of years, working entirely pro bono, of course, with the minor stipulation that Disney flies me in and gets me a hotel room! To sweeten the deal, I'll pay for all lighting, plumbing, and other maintenance costs of the building for the duration of my tenure!

I continue to amaze myself with my excellent ideas!

never saw it... man was this show short lived... Now ifonly they would get a good show in that also has food... or at least drinks....

Rob, I know where you stand on this from the CM, budget cut, point of view. But what do you think of it, Guest-wise? Do you think it's going because it was poorly received, meaning Guests prefered the old show better?

I never saw it, I won't miss it.

I honestly never heard anyone say anything good about this show....although I did here plenty of bad comments about the show.

It is probably like Superstar Limo.....the park is better without it....at least with guests not seeing it, they won't have the be unsatisfied with it.

The holiday stuff listed for this year's MK entertainment includes a special holiday version of the show. I figured that a holiday version couldn't be any worse than the original.

I personally thought the show was a waste of my time. It was just bad. I guess we will know soon enough what they will do with the space. I won't shed any tears over this one. Maggie
