Schilling, Beckett, Wake...and...possibly..........the Rocket?

Highly doubtful...but the possibility is still there.

Last night's game with NY/Oakland--

Me:

*watches game to bottom of 1st inning*
*channel surfs during commercials*
*forgets about game while surfing*
*surfs all the way through 80 channels*
*comes back to game in bottom of 2nd inning*
*misses the Yankees scoring 7 runs, including A-Rod's slam*

Could be. They were saying that Terry Francona talked about having the same injections in his knees that Foulke ended up having to go through and they didn't really help him at all with getting back to playing form. If Foulke can't so something with his control and power soon, he'll likely be relegated to either Middle Relief, or sent to Pawtucket until he's really ready.

I know it was only one game...but didn't Papelbon have a "Mariano" look to him? Stone cold face and just shut down batters 1-2-3.

If Timlin can get his control issues under control...we're going to have a really strong pitching staff on our hands.
