So I was scrolling through Facebook and I noticed that Disney posted that a trailer for Frozen will be released in 5 days.

It's about time!!!! C'mon Disney, other movies have trailers whose movies come out next year!

I just hope it'll turn out to be a good movie. To me, Monsters University just doesn't look like it'll be a good movie. The commercials for it have basically shown every scene in the movie!

So yeah. Trailer in 5 days. :p

Okay. A few months ago, people were saying the Tangled comparisons were premature. But I think we have enough information now to say, IMO, a "Tangled on Ice" is exactly what this is looking like. Similar main character design, adjective title, the concept art has a male and female character standing on a gondola that looks exactly like the one in the lantern scene, and now a reindeer acting like a dog, exactly like Maximus the horse. Ugh.

And this teaser reeks of Scat the squirrel Ice Age promos. Really WDA?

I the original story of the Snow queen there is no love story and Greta (the lead girl) journeys to find her best friend and rescue him from the Snow Queen on her own. helped or hindered by people/animals along the way. It seems like they took what could have been a great modern story where the girl saves her best friend and turned it into a typical princess film.

Synopsis -
"When Anna (Bell) is cursed by her estranged sister, the cold-hearted Snow Queen Elsa (Menzel), Anna’s only hope of reversing the curse is to survive a perilous, yet thrilling journey across an icy and unforgiving landscape. Joined by a rugged, thrill-seeking outdoorsman Kristoff (Groff), his one-antlered reindeer, and a hapless snowman, Anna must race against time, conquer the elements, and battle an army of frozen, sinister warriors if she ever hopes to melt her own frozen heart."

Well I think the animation looks good and I got a chuckle out of it. I doubt Frozen will look "just like" Tangled style wise. The snowman doesn't really resemble anything from Tangled from what I can remember. The reindeer does look like Maximus though but what else could you really do? Either way, I'm still interested.

Wow....this is a completely Ice Age-like trailer. Makes me totally uninterested, if I wanted to see Ice Age, I'd just watch that.

The reindeer does look like Maximus though but what else could you really do?

There are many things that they could've done to make that reindeer completely different than a dog. What? People don't own cats? If that dog personality is all they can come up with then Disney animation may be in trouble, because a multi-film dog-like animal is going to get old fairly fast and the comparisons will be noticable (as they already are). These people are supposed to be "creative"....they don't live in the confines of a box, they stretch that box and find amazing ways to do things that others have yet to think of.

I love the Tinkermovies but they are movies for home. I agree that it still looks quite cheap :(

Then tangled must have also looked quite cheap considering both movies are using the same art style, As for me I don't think this goes anywhere near tinkerbell other than the aspect of winter and snow. I will say im not impressed with the trailer due to its short length but im guessing they don't wanna show to much yet.

Well I adored Tangled. My problem is not the characters, they look fine, it's more the background........but I agree that we haven't seen enough to really judge :D
