Fantastic news. This is a film that can gain so much by being made into a broadway production, more songs as the film was lacking any music at the end, more fleshed out story (Elsa and anna's relationship, and lastly and my favorite thing about broadway is they can get away with taking the story to a darker place.

It looks like she’s the queen! Broadway alum Betsy Wolfe will take on the mammoth power anthem “Let It Go” eight times a week as Elsa in the Broadway adaptation of Frozen, according to reports from the New York Post. The Disney musical, directed by Alex Timbers, is set to hit the Great White Way in spring 2018 at the St. James Theatre, the current home of Something Rotten!.

Wolfe has worked with the Lopez' and director Timbers before. Below you can see her performing Let it Go with Bobby Lopez on piano.

I was just about to post this. Non discounted ticket prices on Broadway are currently averaging in the range of $150 - $175. Can you imagine how much tickets will be for this by 2018? Better start saving now!

Patti Murin (Lysistrata Jones) has landed the role of Anna in the upcoming stage adaptation of Disney's Frozen, according to a report in The New York Post. Murin will take on the role of Anna, voiced on screen by Kristen Bell, joining Betsy Wolfe (Bullets Over Broadway), who will take on the role of Elsa. However, a spokesperson for Disney Theatricals commented to TheaterMania, "No one has been cast for the Broadway production of Frozen."

you can hear her here...

LOL - not at all. There are six pages. If you read through them, you will see that those people despise her.
they seem to not like her for some weird broadway forum thing she had shut down over there? I don't think that will affect anyone outside of that site. Hell you had to even post that to bring it to people's attention. Something tells me her as anna won't affect anything.

I don't have any feelings about her one way or the other, but a lot of people truly hate her guts. And yes, it doesn't matter because Frozen on Broadway is going to be a monster hit that no one is going to be able to get into for years and years and years.

I posted this on some other thread, but here's a Frozen Broadway First Look!

And yes, obviously, this is a parody.
