I am a long time fan of Disney Land. I will doing my first trip to Disney World May 2006. Will I be able to get a Fritter in the Magic Kingdom? In Disney Land they sell them at the Mint julip bar Can any one help? Thanks :slurp:

This is amusing.

A Fritter is a batter food item - either the item itself is dipped in batter, or the batter contains other items in it, like corn, vegetables, etc. Hush Puppies are a type of fritter. Other sultures usually don't have such a generic term for them.

Funnel Cakes are simmilar, but they do not have anything in them. Beignettes don't either, but if you stuff them then you could porbably call them a type of fritter.

I don't know of anyplace that sells them down there as a snack food, although I remember the Liberty Inn at one point may have had corn fritters. Could be mixed up memories, though.
