It is an acquisition. Anyway, Four Seasons residences sound better than Marriott? residences. It will be interesting because owners bought into the "Four Seasons " when they bought into the million dollar residences.

Do four seasons operate as franchises like some other hotels so the owner can change but keep the branding etc or does the hotel need to be renamed?

I’m pretty sure this is what’s happening. They bought the building, but four seasons will operate it, and Disney will lease the land it’s all on.
