Fort Wilderness Will Reopen 9/14

Reopening today after being closed since the 3rd.

I hope the resort is ok. I stayed there for most of my WDW trip in August, until Hurricane Charley forced us out. Great resort. :animwink:

I have asked around about Ft. Wilderness, it is my favorite.

How much damage was done?
Did lots of those tall skinny pines in the cabin areas come down on them?
What exactly happened there?

Please give lots of details if you know any!

Haven't been over there. I guess I could have boated over and then rode the bus around. As far as I know, they aren't letting anyone in just to drive around, you must be staying there to actually get in. I just didn't feel like spending an hour riding a bus/boat to see what little you would see from the bus.
