When you are on a ride that has a big drop, goes upside down, or almost straight up(Splash,ToT,RnRc,E:E) do you take your glasses off incase they fall off, or do you keep them on?

If I took mine off it would take all the fun out of seeing all the elements of the ride because it would just look like various colored blobs, soooo...the glasses stay on!

I wear contacts now, but for when I didn't:

Not for everyday use, mind you. Just when there are roller-coasters around.

I take them off on Space, BTMRR, as I go up the big drop on Splash, RNRC, ToT, and EE. However, I can see without them, I only really need them for things that are far away and looking at computer screens.

I had to squint all through Splash.
Yeah, I can't stand to not be able to see so I just clean them with my shirt and go to the bathroom afterwards and get the film off that that water leaves on them with some soap and water...see I have it all down pat being that I've been doing this o, let's see o ya um 19 of my 23 yrs....

I leave my glasses on for just about every ride in WDW. I take my hat off/turn it around for roller coasters.

Bigger coasters elsewhere, I will take my glasses off.

On. I don't think anything at WDW will separate you from your glasses if they're well fitted to your face. (Six Flags is a different story.)

I've worn mine on every ride, never a problem. My frames are fitted to be comfortable but snug and they are.

Only issues I have is with wind and water... Wind blowing under the glasses makes my eyes water and water makes the glasses impossible to see through. Neither would stop me from riding anything, but I will say I could navigate from the off-load at Splash to the wash-room where I clean my lens in complete darkness if necessary!

Exactly. I wear contacts almost all the time now, but there's nothing at WDW that would make me take my glasses off if I wore them. Sometimes on bright, sunny days I'll leave my sunglasses on when I'm on mostly-outdoor thrill rides like Big Thunder or EE.

I *have* lost a pair of sunglasses at WDW, though...but it was because I left them on the train coming back from Conservation Station at AK... :lookaroun

Depends on the thrill ride. I sometimes keep them on for portions of the ride -- Expedition Everest, Tower of Terror, Mission Space/Mountain, Test Track, The Hulk, Spider-man, Kraken, Thunder Mountain -- but I normally put them in my hand or stick them in my zipped cargo pocket.

Then when the loopy stuff is complete, I put my glasses back on.

Just depends on how I'm feeling and the situation. Manta and Rock n Roller I stow my glasses in my cargo pocket for entire ride.

Yeah, without my glasses on I couldn't tell the Haunted Mansion from Spaceship Earth.
