FoP FP+ has become multiple experience on October 4th?!

Is there a planned refurbishment for Flight of Passage does anyone know? Had an email about our FP changing into a multiple experience one on October 4th. Luckily we have another for FoP, but so annoying! Would there be any other reason why it changed? It was a 7pm one so maybe the parks closing early?

The land of Pandora is closing at 8pm on October 4th (per another Disney news website that I can't link to here), an hour earlier than the rest of the Animal Kingdom park. They may not want Fastpass returners able to join the line so close to the "closing" time.

FWIW, the same site reports that Pandora is closing an hour earlier (at 8pm) on September 18th and October 3rd, as well.

To clarify, you should be able to use your FoP Multiple Experience at FoP anytime that day, unless it specifically states otherwise.

Ah- that makes sense. And I’ve just checked and it does include FoP. Though it’s a little confusing still as it says it’s a replacement FP & “Flight of Passage is temporarily unavailable” which is odd since we’re more than 3 weeks away from the date!
However, if the FP stays & FoP is open on the day, this FP is actually better since it’s an anytime FoP!
