Riffing off the other thread...what are foods you must have at WDW?!?

for me....CHURRO.

I dunno it was just this tasty thing I used to only get at amusement parks when I was a kid, so whenever I get one at WDW I get all my childhood memories back.

Now with my most recent WDW trip I'm adding:

Quiche at Epcot counter service
Wagyu strip loin at Victoria and Alberts
Fried Chicken at Prime Time Cafe
Seafood Stew @ Tusker House

to the list.

p.s. Who can forget a Mickey Shaped ice cream bar?!?

Cosmic Ray's.

On the first trip my wife (g/f at the time) and I went on together 10 years ago, we ate at Cosmic Ray's (or Cosmic Chicken as we call it) on the first day. Since then, it's just been a tradition pretty much that we have to eat at Cosmic Chicken on every trip.

What is that with the fried chicken at 50's? What happened to the green beans? I really don't want a waitress trying to force me to eat whatever those are.

When I ate it it came with collard greens (which is what the picture above shows). She also told me you can request it come with green beans (for those who don't like collard greens).

Ok thanks, I checked the menu and saw that they were called "southern greens" you would think since I've lived in GA my whole life I would have known what they were :ROFLOL:. I think I will stick with the green beans.

I loved the slow-cooked roast beef sandwich at Flame Tree but they removed it from the menu :(

So I'll say:
Combo Platter with a Margarita from Mexico Pavilion
Pulled Pork Sandwich from Peco's
Peanut Butter Cookie from Minnie's Bakery
Frozen Chocholate Banana
Dole Whip

I can't say that I have many "must-haves". We try to eat something different everytime we go.

The only real "must-have" I can think of is Mickey Bars!
