Taking pictures? Being stalked? Very curious how this goes down. Could be key to slashing the character budget which would be most welcomeHe's been running around Fantasyland looking for Maximus. Just a test.
No photos or autographs - just talking to guests. Has autograph cards though.Taking pictures? Being stalked? Very curious how this goes down. Could be key to slashing the character budget which would be most welcome
Or WDWMagicI hope MouseSteps gets a video of this.
Wonder if the merry makers are on the chopping block? Of all the lands who could benefit from atmosphere equity, Fantasyland is dead lastI sort of like the idea of a character able to 'roam' around again and interact with guests.
I know they were looking for a Tarzan for Disney Cruise Lines.. Could that be what you saw? That's great news to hear!!! Also this is kind of related but any rumblings of Tarzan coming back full time? I know they did the test back in the winter but Disneyauditions.com recently had several days of Tarzan characer look alike auditions posted. They've already happened now but it would make you believe that he was coming back fulltime.
Tarzan was out all day the other day. He is also on the times guide for daily meets.
Oh you just know the soccer moms with their special snowflakes will get in a huff because little Johnny and Suzie weren't allowed to take a picture or get their book signed. How long before some guests ruin it before for everyone else? Place your bets! Step right up!
Still hoping this is the start of a plan to wean people off that mentalityOh you just know the soccer moms with their special snowflakes will get in a huff because little Johnny and Suzie weren't allowed to take a picture or get their book signed.
One dollar, Bob.How long before some guests ruin it before for everyone else? Place your bets! Step right up!
Some of the books are but the character is still owned by the Burroughs estate. Same as John Carter.I'm skeptical about this. The parks still run "Tarzan's Treehouse" as an attraction at DLR and why would that be okay and a M&G not be? Also, aren't the Tarzan books now public domain (recognizing there is a difference between trademarks and copyrights)? I would think that Disney should be able to develop material based on strickly on their 1999 film, but who knows.
