We left the boat for the afternoon and took a long walk around the city taking in a lake we had seen from the mountain and found an underpass that led us into a shopping mall that we had not realised was there. There was a lovely local coffee shop so it seemed rude not to try it. We took our drinks and meandered slowly back past the other side of the lake.We slowly made our way back to the ship through a pedestrianised shopping area browsing at the different shops on the way. The way back also took us through an historic fort.We would have loved to have stayed out longer but the temperature was up to 27dg and it was getting uncomfortable .
We cooled off back at the ship by watching the Jungle Book 3d. This is a fantastic film and has gone on our must have list when it comes out on bluray.
We got changed before the evening show which was Twice charmed the musical.
Tonights dinner was back at Lumieres.
We had,
Starter,
D.Jalsberg tart
M.Duke of Wesseltons favourite (mixed meat platter)
Main,
D.Rosemary marinated striploin
M. Veal loin ( Donna tried some as well but wasn’t taken with it)
Dessert,
D.Warm apple pudding cake
M. Sweet temptation sampler trio.
After Dinner it was up to deck 10 to watch the Feezing the night away party. This was okay but didn’t seem to appeal to as many people as the pirate nights have seemed to ( according to fellow more frequent cruisers)
A slow meander back to the stateroom saw us turn in for the night.
"parked" in the middle of the lake we walked around
