First Magic cruise cancelled!

We appreciate you selecting a Disney Cruise Line vacation for your clients and have important information to share about their sailing.

As you may know, the Disney Magic has just undergone the most significant transformation in the history of Disney Cruise Line. Unfortunately, during the course of dry dock renovations and the Trans-Atlantic crossing, we encountered challenging weather conditions that made the necessary work impossible to complete in time for the first cruise. As a result, we've made the difficult decision to cancel the October 20, 2013, 5-night sailing from Miami, Florida.


They are giving those booked on the cruise a full refund, plus a FREE 5-night cruise on the Magic (or 35% off a different cruise).

Oh my! I was so tempted to book that one. Looks like they're trying to do the right thing by the passengers with the generous offer. Still, hate it for those inconvenienced...

Yep, I hate it for people that just had their vacation cancelled, but that is a good compensation!

Just what I was thinking. Sure, it would suck if you booked flights there and you have to cancel those or immediately plan something else to do in Miami, but still...refund and a free cruise ain't so bad!

Wow... I'd take the 35% off and book a concierge 7-night cruise on the Fantasy... that would be over $2,000 off! I feel for the people whose vacations were ruined, but that's fantastic compensation from Disney.
