Fire truck at downtown disney

Tonight at DD there was a fire truck and ambulance. I'm not sure what was going on or if this is common. Any thoughts?

Pretty common for anywhere on property. Hundreds of thousands of guests....there's always something happening.

Very common. Could have been a guest / CM illness or injury or any number of automated alarms. Happens all the time all around property.

Makes sence. When I posted that I saw smoke, but it turns out it was coming from the volcano for whatever restaurant that's supposed to be for.

Pretty standard. When my mother fell and broke her hip, both an engine and rescue showed up. The firemen are trained as first responders, so they can "hold down the fort" until the paramedics arrive, if they arrive first. In her case, the paramedics were there, so the engine left after making sure they weren't needed.

I tripped on a sidewalk at Sports a few years ago and dislocated my elbow. They told me it was standard procedure for a paramedic to be called at the resorts since they don't have first aid. I didn't need transport so I signed off on it and took the CareCenter shuttle to have it looked at.
