Favorite Resort Restaurant

Thought this would be one that I haven't done that would be a good topic. Besides from eating at the food courts for breakfast (depending on what park we were going to that morning) or eating dinner in the food courts (when Animal Kingdom closed early), I don't really eat too much at the resort. Now I've eaten at Chef Mickeys a couple times, but honestly that's about it. Usually eat in the parks. I would love to try different resort restaurants. I know that the dinner show at the Poly is very good and the one at Fort Wilderness. Also have heard that the restaurants at the Animal Kingdom Lodge are very good too. Would like to try my best to eat at a different resort restaurant on my next trip. So, any recommendations? What's your favorite or favorites?

Not sure if you're using the dining plan or not (im a huge supporter of the dining plan), but the meal that you get at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club resort is one of the best meals ive ever had in my entire life! From the cuts of meat to the lobster bisque to the mac n cheese side dish, everything is to die for. If you dont have the dining plan it is pricey, but it is a 5 star meal no matter how you look at it.

I've said it many times - my favorite restaurant on the planet in the California Grill. I always get the same thing, not because the menu is limited but because I enjoy it so much - the Spicy Kazan Roll (sushi) appetizer and the Beef Tenderloin entrée. There is just so much flavor in that Kazan sauce, and the beef can be cut with a fork - so tender and tasty. And the view over the Magic Kingdom just makes it even more special!

Just back had dinner at Captains Grill at the Yacht Club. Excellent my steak was the best steak I've had on Disney property. There was nine of us at one table, excellent service. All said their selections were great.

Jiko, best restaurant on the entire property, imho.

Breakfast would be a different matter, I do like Kona Cafe and the Grand Floridian Cafe both.

Another vote for Jiko. I'm not sure there is a better Disney restaurant. And it's just so unique to really make it a stand-out from other resort restaurants.

My top four in no particular order:
AKL Kidani: Sanaa
AKL Jambo: Jiko
The Swan: Il Mulino
YC: Yacthsman

Some honorable mentions that are really good:
CR: The Wave
CBR: Shutters
FW: Trails End

Have you been to shutters since the menu change? I think that was within the past 6 months?
