Took a gander in the search bar and didnt really come up with a result so I ask you this...do you like to laugh? How hard do you laugh at a film? If so, what are some of your favorite comedies? Do you like Jim Carrey films? Kevin Hart? None of those? List away!

Some of my favorite comedies are Ace Ventura, Coneheads and Mars Attacks.

I love Dumb & Dumber
I have never laughed as hard at any film as I did the first time ever watching Dumb & Dumber. I was literally in tears most of the movie, and my sides hurt for at least a day afterward. As to be expected, it has certainly aged and lost a lot of it's punch now that all the gags & one-liners are embedded in our memories. But as far as first-time viewings go, no other film has come close to producing laugh-'til-it-hurts moments the way it did.

I saw it in the theater and when it was over had a huge bird's nest-like knot in my hair from laughing and rubbing the back of my head on the scratchy theater seat.

How could I forget Mrs. Doubtfire? A great Robin Williams classic.

Meet The Parents is another good one I forgot to add to my list.
Meet The Parents is funny. I also like Happy Gilmore. That and The Wedding Singer are really the only comedies Sandler is in that I really like. I also love Reign Over Me that he is in which is not a comedy, but I think that is his best role ever.

I rarely, actually laugh out loud but

Hot Rod
Walk Hard
and
Office Space

regularly make me laugh freely.

And as a bonus, the tv shows

Simpsons (seasons 2-10)
Clone High
Portlandia
King of the Hill
Psych
and
Monty Python

get the job done as well.

Holy Grail and Life Of Brian definitely make me laugh out loud. That British Humor is great.
