Favorite Classic Rock Band

Since my favorite band (Iron Maiden) isn't on the list I chose AC/DC. The first time I saw them I was around 12 (For Those About to Rock tour) and I remember our seats were on the floor right under the huge bell for Hell's Bells and hoping it didn't fall. After the concert, which was July 4th of all days, they put on a fireworks show choreographed to some AC/DC music. I've been lucky in my life to go to hundreds upon hundreds of rock/metal shows and this one is one of my favorite memories.

It means who is your favorite, I know it sounds a little weird. I will have to make another thread listing other artist and bands sometime. There is too many and I can't believe I left out some from this list like Van Halen mentioned earlier!

It was a tough call between the Who and Def Leppard for me...but, Tommy > Hysteria! (though, I love them both)
And yes, litaljohn doesn't need to know about the thread. He may go so far as to get all his friends and family and random strangers to join the forum just to vote for Bon Jovi!

Mine isn't on here for some reason.

I grew up with listening to Aerosmith since they're my mom's favorite. When she was a teenager, she dated a bunch of different rock stars and hung out with different bands. Recently she got to meet Steven Tyler (her favorite) and Joe Perry (again since she was in one of their music videos, but she didn't tell them that). Steven Tyler gave her a kiss on the cheek and my mom and him gave each other their bracelets. The other day me and my mom were watching him on TV on The Talk and I noticed he was wearing the bracelet my mom gave him.
