Geez, have scientists finally found the missing link?

>>>AP)-(NEW YORK)-A man sued four leading fast food chains, claiming he became obese and suffered from other serious health problems from eating their fatty cuisine.

Caesar Barber, 56, filed a lawsuit Wednesday in Bronx Supreme Court, naming McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

"They said `100 percent beef.' I thought that meant it was good for you," Barber told Newsday. "I thought the food was OK."

"Those people in the advertisements don't really tell you what's in the food," he said. "It's all fat, fat and more fat. Now I'm obese."<<<

What a complete & total idiot. This is even worse than the woman who sued over hot coffee. I swear, ya can sue for anything anymore. Not to mention, you SEE obesity coming...STOP it! I saw my weight rising & rising slowly & once I hit a scary number, I chilled out & lost over 50 lbs.! You don't just wake up one day obese & say "WOW! How did this happen? Must have been dinner last night!" What a fool!

You're right, he probably will win. Totally ridiculous.

Aren't the fast food restaurants required to make nutritional information available? I know they have pamphlets listing all of their products, and there is always a sign posted. If you read the nutritional charts the fast food chains make available, there is no way you could possibly come to the conclusion that the hamburgers and french fries are low fat. I can't imagine this case won't be dismissed immediately.

Alot of people in the US looks for an escape goat so they can displace their problems instead of dealing with them on their own.

Unfortunately for him, the guy's case lost a lot of merit when in open court he said, "I demand $15 million--just think of all the Big Mac's that'll buy!"

To be perfectly honest, she had every right to sue. Get the full story before critisizing. The coffee was beyond hot, it was scalding. It burnt her through several layers of flesh and required some intensive correctional surgery. To add on top of it all, there was no warnings on the cups that the product inside would be that hot, which really hurt McDonalds. Like I said, before you assume someone is stupid because of what you've heard, try to get the full story.
