Fall Rates

Does anyone know when they typically announce the fall room rate discounts? We are going down for free dining in November but always book an extra night the night before our package starts as I prefer not to waste my package days on travel time. I am wondering if fall discount room rates come out and if so around when do they post them? If I were to book now, would I be able to get them to apply a cheaper rate at a later date?

If they release any it will be in the summertime. You can always book now which I would ASAP is you have a particular place you want to stay. Then you know at least you have your room booked while you wait to see if a discount does come out. If a discount comes out for your particular room and resort, and there is still availability for that discount they can apply it to the existing reservation.

I've noticed after the deadline for the most recent discount is when they announce the new discounts. Perhaps after August 7. Some discounts are listed until October 3. Check the disneyworld.com website special offers.
