Fall for us in Magic Friends

Thanks. :o It's amazing how after so long there are days that can still be so hard. But she was my best friend & essentially my right arm for 25 years, so I suppose that's to be expected.

I could tell my grandma almost anything and she would understand. Now I talk to my mom more. She understands more than I ever gave her credit for. Why I didn't know that before, I don't know. I love my Mom very much.

Good morning peeps!

((HUGS)) for Steph.
She'll be with you every step of the way. . .

Susie. . .watch that eye!

Yay for Mad's 3 pounds!

Hello Dot
I am watching it very closely. Yesterday it was itchy and I kept rubbing it. I went to sleep with it being sore and this morning it is swelled.:veryconfu

How was your weekend out of town?

It was ok, it was my fiance's family reunion and I am sort of shy person when it comes to people I don't know. So I felt somewhat uncomfortable at parts. Nothing a little wine can't fix though. :ROFLOL:

Everyone was very nice. We were in Beaver Falls, PA, which seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere. But we did find a really nice state park and did some walking on trails and saw some falls and stuff. That part was the best.

I think it's great to have someone you can talk to about anything. My girls have always been very open with both of us. From the time they were little, both George and I let them know that nothing was out of bounds. We never used the line "Wait till you're older". If they asked a question we answered it in a way they could understand at their age. We feel good in knowing that they trust us to be honest with them. The reward for that has been that they're open and honest with us as well.

Hope it feels better. The fact that it's only one eye makes me think it might not be allergies.

Hi Katy!
Sounds like you managed to have a nice time!
In which part of the state is Beaver Falls?

Hi Dot!

Well I was not paying real close attention because Damon was driving. But we came from Detroit, MI and we went through Ohio to PA, once we were in PA it was like the 2nd or 3rd exit. So it is western Pa, right near the Ohio border.

That's the other end of the state from us.
Philadelphia's in the southeastern corner.

That is the way we are trying to be with the girls. I want them to be up front and honest with me all the time. We have told them that if mom and can't them then Dad should be able to or we will find the answer together.:sohappy:

When I am around a cat only one eye gets like this. Sometimes my allergies affect me in weird ways like this.

We stayed home and cleaned some of the house. Other things was going on but I needed to get these things done.

It sounds like you had a somewhat of a good time though.:sohappy:

I was always closer w/ my grandma, but since have become alot closer w/ my mom which is nice. My mom was never....it's very hard for her to show her emotions and she wasn't like a "cuddly" person. But she really has been more so since :)
Good morning all. I'm back from my weekend out of town.
Morning Katy  Sounds like the reunion went well. :)
