My friend has been on the phone over 25 minutes and still hasn't spoken to anyone... I just tried to reserve 1 night I need in December because we are coming in one day earlier and no rooms available!!!! what??!!

Couldn't get free dining since we're arriving on 11/6 but we did get a 15% discount for Pop! Cousins first trip! Super excited!!

All that really means is that it will already be so crowded that they don't need to discount.

Room discounted rates vary by resort and date. The discounts listed above do not apply to all dates within the travel window. For example, some dates might be discounted 5% while others at 20%.

In addition, Art of Animation suites and standard rooms are both excluded from Free Dining.

Availability for both discounts is very limited! Several of my clients had to switch resorts due to no availability even though their resort was "included" in the discount.

Am booked for pofq hoping to switch to Riverside. Was originally Riverside and swiched to pofq. Agent said I could switch back to Riverside if pofq wasn't included in a free dining offer. Hope she was right...

And, like clockwork, online booking is unavailable. How does such a large corporation in the service industry not just survive, but thrive, with such a terrible website? It always goes down when it's needed most, and even when it's working properly, it is the least user-friendly interface I've ever used. The old design was clunky and clumsy, but at least it got the job done. This redesign can't even complete simple requests, like showing me discounted rates for the deal you just announced!

Ugh... Sorry. Rant over. Web design incompetence drives me crazy, especially when it's an exercise in form over function. I think the WDWMagic programmers could give Disney some lessons in that regard. They did it right.

Just got booked for Pop with Free Dining in November thanks to Tammy at Kingdom Konsultants. Yahoo!

LOL! Finally got through to an agent after over one hour.

I "upgraded" from a room in POFQ with no dining plan to a room in Wilderness Lodge with free dining for 3 adults one child for about $250 more per night.

We were going to go with no dining plan because I don't think free dining is saving us money, but we'd probably have come close to $200 per day for 4 people, when I read about people getting a few sandwiches and drinks and forking over $70.

So I figure my net is upgrading to Wilderness Lodge for an extra $50/night.

After all this time spent researching POFQ! But I do think my family will love WL, and my very first impulse was to have us stay there.

On phone for over an hour and there was nothing left for the week of December 15th! Guess I'll keep my original reservations and get a room discount instead.

Forgot to mention, as the agent was entering my changes, they got an announcement that the system was down! After 140 minutes invested! Fortunately, at least the info that my resort was changed made it through. If for some reason they're not seeing the free dining or something when I check back at least they'll see the resort was changed.

They really must be pushing their system to the max.

I'm hoping for a room discount since we already know FD is not gonna happen. And was so shocked to see that POR is not included in the RO Discount.. apparently it is now, but only at 5%!! The discount would practically be useless to us because we will be charged the ticket increase! Disney threw a curveball on this one since POFQ is usually only 5%. I'd rather move to a deluxe and get 30% off.

I am stressing out because the site is down right now and no one can get through to them, not even TA's and I haven't heard from my TA since 7:30 this morning. I sure hope that I don't miss out on a discount because of this! I feel bad for those who sat on the phone for hours. It is so frustrating... whenever a discount is released, everything goes wacky! There must be something they can do to make it more efficient in the future.

This might be shaping up to be the worst release I've experienced. I lucked into a 25 minute wait this morning, which turned into a 75 minute phone call to find out that 90% of my reservations didn't qualify due no availability or discounts that actually cost more. Now I have to call back in, and so far can't get anything but a busy signal.
