Fake Celebrity Prank In New York City

Inspired by the Celebs on the forums thread.

This guy pulled off a brilliant prank in NYC. He's just an average citizen...NOT a celebrity. Yet after he hires a few body guards & changes his look, he pulls off a very convincing celebrity persona. No particular celebrity, but just looks "famous". The citizens on the street fall for it! This video teaches us two lessons: 1). Image IS everything. and 2). America is WAY too obsessed with celebrity worship.

I'd have been fooled. I never know who anyone is. I see those magazine covers about who broke up with whom and am baffled as to just who those people are. But I wouldn't have stopped for a picture or pretended to know him, lol. People are so weird sometimes.

My friend saw Tina Fey in a restaurant once and told me she was there. I asked, "Did we go to school with her?" and was told, "Oh, my God, you really are hopeless," followed by the Tina Fey highlights.

I know who Ted Levine is, though. Little crush. if I tweeted, I would be his follower or whatever.
