Last trip while at disney hollywood studios my youngest daughter spotted a man jokingly of course who she thought looked like Robert DeNiro. In a way I can see the resemblance but still was not him. Though I thought it would be neat to see a real celebrity while at the parks. My nephew was there once at MK and saw old Eagles QB Donovan McNab. Who have you seen and do celebrities tend to come out to the parks certain times of the year better than others? We will be going back for 2 full weeks in may of next year!

Kurt Busch in the lobby of the Polynesian on July 5th. He came with his girlfriend and her son to see the 4th of July fireworks. It was odd since I caught him staring at me and he looked away, but I called him over and we talked for a few minutes.

I always wondered how celebrities get around the parks. Like you see different celebs posing with characters on the Disney blog with their children. I can't imagine they can just walk around and get anything done. Do they get escorted by CM's or taken through back stage entrances?

There are special security or CM's to lead them around to keep mobs of little people/normies from swarming them. They probably have to let the park know in advance so security can be ready and a trained CM to escort them can help fend off crowds. I know once when Adam Sandler went to DL in California he just went in as a regular visitor. He mingled with the masses and waited in line like all others. Security was not happy with this and found him in line at HM mobbed by autograph seekers. They came in and told Adam he had to leave and come with them through a "special entrance" to the ride, keeping him away from the little peeps. He told this story once on Letterman and said he would rather mix and mingle like everyday people, but understood Disney has policies in place for everyone's safety and to avoid mob situations.

My family was in MK in 1993 during the Easter Parade when Joey Lawrence, Regis Philbin, and Joan London were the celebrity "hosts". After the parade, we went about roaming around, riding rides, enjoying the day. We were at the front of the line at Splash Mountain when they stopped us to let Joey and his lil bro on. Then, while we were leaving the ride, Joey and I grazed shoulders. I vowed to never wash that shoulder again...now I can't remember which shoulder it was!!

In 2000 January 2nd i believe in front of the AMC downtown Disney bumped into Howie from the backstreet boys. Asked us where we were from and told him the place that made them famous and he actually knew from where we were from without us telling him. MONTREAL CANADA. Took some pics talked for about 30 min with him and his GF. And believe it or not , not one person actually stopped while we were with him. It was a pretty cool meet and great lol.

We saw Hootie and the Blowfish playing outside mid day while walking through at Pleasure Island.
OK so that doesn't sound as cool now but we saw them about 4 months before they hit the radio stations and were every where.

Rosanne Bars Limo drove past us during the Planet Hollywood opening weekend.
