Evening Extra Magic Hours...any new info?

Back in May, WDW tested an evening extra magic hour(s) at the parks in which the parks were open up to 3 hours after normal park closing for WDW resort guests, in place of (and in some cases, in addition to) the usual and still used EMH occuring 1 hour prior to park opening. Its been a while now and I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about how that test went, if they are still looking at the "results" and/or it is still be considered as a new benefit for WDW resort guests. I really liked it and hope they are still seriously considering making it permanent..perhaps when the new fiscal quarter begins in October?...they seem to like to announce/start new things in October. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

Nothing has been officially announced yet.

Due to Night of Joy, Halloween, and Christmas parties that are going to be happening at the MK, I wouldn't be suprised if implemented, it's for all parks except MK or a Spring only thing, with actual E-ride nights in the summer and parties in the fall/winter.

I don't think summer E ride nights are a replacement for evening extra magic hour.
The extra magic hour they tested out applied to ALL parks; some in the am and some in the evening. E ride is only on select evenings at the Magic Kingdom. As well, the Not So Scary and Christmas Parties are only at MK and are paid admission.

They could still do morning/evening extra magic hour at the other parks while those are going on at MK.
Its my hope that they can do both (special events and evening extra magic hours) year round.
