We spent the day at Epcot not usually one of our favourite parks but on September 26 has one of the best Epcot days ever. We got to do every ride without long wait by utilising fast pass early then getting extras , managed to stay all day in the heat through avoiding alcohol - it was worth it. I loved the coastal eats lobster roll and brisket slider, seafood salad from Spain and beer cheese brisket poutine from refreshment port. I found the cms happier than last year, the food tastier than last year, crowds better and less groups of drunks. Then to end a fabulous day a fabulous performance by sugar ray at 8pm and the illuminations fireworks to end a very happy and positive park experience . So much better than last year

We saw lots of "Drinks Around The World" T-shirts last week, but I don't recall seeing anyone visibly drunk.

Sounds like our day exactly, but on the 25th.

I think peoples definition of "drunk" is: a person who is simply holding a drink in their hand.

Glad the OP had an excellent day, but the "drunks" reference was unneeded.

I don't mind 'drunks' or folks that are inebriated. In fact, I almost prefect them to sober people.

Except;
  • If they are barfing
  • If they have barfed on themselves and want to touch me
  • If they are angry drunks
  • if they are spewing profanity
Those, types, I can do without. Otherwise, I oddly have no feelings of social anxiety around them what-so-ever. They are ever so entertaining to watch and i feel less they are less judgy than normal sober people.

Super excited to go in two weeks. Are there any kiosks that are avoidable? Just trying to make sure I spend my money wisely.
While we didn't hit them all, the ones we hit (Mexico, Germany, Ireland, France, China, Japan, Spain, Light Lab, Active Eats) were all good.

Was there the first week of September. Thought the crowds were pleasantly low -until the late afternoon and evening when the entire face of Epcot changed. Totally different crowd at night than during the day, and just walking around became a total PITA. Going to guess it's due to locals. It didn't at all ruin our vacation, but we're probably done with F&W at this point.
