Entertainment changes at AK?

I just saw a post on Instagram from a Disney performer who works at the Discovery Island Carnivale, and he says that June 16th will be the last day for the show.

Anyone else heard this? Thoughts?

Sunset Serenatas has sadly been over for quite a while. I believe it was the decision of the performer, but not certain.

IMO, this is an utter shame. If anything, parts of the Harambe Acts could get cut, but alas...

Bizarre but brilliant. Which applies to quite a lot of DAK.

Sad to hear he's gone then, apparently.

I think it's alright-ish.

But too loud. DAK has too much loud music, and not enough atmosphere background music.

IMO, this is an utter shame. If anything, parts of the Harambe Acts could get cut, but alas...

They've messed with Harambe more than George Lucas with Mos Eisley.

Both were superb in their orginal form. Atmospheric towns, mysterious, implying of more, a starting point for exploration. Then they substracted from both through addition.

Odd. I would argue the two additions have made Harambe one of the top themed lands in the world.

I agree... I think the two additional districts have made it feel like an actual place as opposed to a dead end to a Safari.

Just to be clear, you're referring to this guy? If so that really is a shame. Sad.

Well, that sucks. Been really disappointed with the entertainment cuts at DAK. They are keeping the park open to 10:30-11 but are now ending the entertainment at 8pm. Where as they used to run it until 9:30. Must be the same geniuses who scheduled the Incredibles dance party from 2-7pm(the hottest part of the day) at MK
