Don't do this to me, I'm already trying really hard to not read into the survey I got asking what lands I visited. I'm too emotional for this.

I'm going to presume they cut something from AnimalsInTheBackgroundLand that's going to tick people off.
What did you get from the survey? And what parks were it for? I don’t understand what this popcorn is referring to, as this land is already a thing and confirmed

I got a survey a week ago for visiting Animal Kingdom; it asked my reasons for visiting and what lands I spent my time in. I've gotten Animal Kingdom surveys before but they're usually asking about what I ate, so this was new to me.

No one knows what the popcorn is about, he's being vague because he can't say anything.

I am sure my view is going to be quite niche on here but when I think of which of the three rides in Tropical America's is the "most DAK" then I think it's going to be the carousel...

I know it's a bit meta [which is a failing of Dinorama in connecting with guests] but 'local tradesman builds knock off Disney IP carousel for his towns people' is literally the most DAK it can get. How many of these things do you think Joe Rohde and co saw on their research travels? It is far more authentic to DAK than a magical house.
The most realistic part of the ride will be the Cease & Desist letter from Disney Legal posted at the front of the queue.

I mean, I sorta tested it this summer with our Ohio trip... the carousel at Kings Island? Traditional horses... kids had no interest in riding... the carousel at the Cincinnati Zoo (which we went to the next day)? Every seat a unique zoo animal... kids insisted on riding twice...
So, the carousel didn’t need to be themed to an IP for your kids to enjoy it, just well-themed? That proves the point that you don’t need an IP to attract kids; good theming will do the job. Your kids would probably get more excited to hear about a Doctor Strange Sanctum Sanctorum dark ride than a generic haunted house, but they would probably love the Haunted Mansion anyway. We shouldn’t re-theme it just because it doesn’t have a movie IP tied to it...
