Email Reservation Confusion

So I booked all my dining reservations this morning and some things were very confusing such as my reservation for Teppen Edo. It says it does not take the dining plan on the email, but if I look online it says it does. Also is it two table servings not 1? I attached what I got as reference:

So weird... so I finally got through and the agent said it was two credits. My BOG reservation says 1 credit. They really need to get this fixed.

Sometimes certain restaurants are sluggish in "re-upping" for the DDP for the next year, and may not appear as DDP participants when you book. I see Teppan Edo is currently listed as a DDP participant on the Disney website (as a 1-credit meal, not 2), and presumably that will be the same in 2019. I have no idea why someone would have told you it's 2-credit meal: it's not a signature or a show and has never been 2 credits in the past, unless of course WDW wants to change that and hasn't announced it yet...

All the Japan dining is run by an outside vendor, Mitsukoshi USA. Who knows what the new contract with them will entail as its year to year.

Exactly. This is the time of year that the new Dining Plan contracts are being negotiated and signed. Some are finalized very late. If the one for Tepoan Edo has not been signed then it will sow for 2019 as not on the dining plan. And ithe number of credits may stay the same year to year or change depending on what the restaurant wants to do. We will have to see what the pan covers and what it costs when all the contracts are finished.

I get that but then it said that be our guest was only 1 credit for Dinner.
