The Electrical Water Pageant will not be operating August 14 - 31, 2004

I think just rehab it may be related but no positive answer right now

I think there may be more to this seeing as they just finished rehabing them in July. We'll see, thanks for the heads up.

One of the "floats" was damaged. . . so this is what I am assuming.

Also - the mermaid from the SPLASH statuette at Disney-MGM has been toppled over/probably destroyed.

NOOOOOO that is one of the few bits of "actual" movie stuff in the park. I loved that fountian, it was so cool and a great piece of history for the Disney company.

Ok. In the 8 or 9 times I've been to MGM, I don't think I ever came across this fountain. Thanks much for the pix, Grizz, but where is this fountain?

The fountain is towards the back of the park by the Backlot Tour. I have some pics somewhere, I just don't remember what photo album they're in.

Grizz, thanks for posting the pics. It's just such a shame that such a wonderful fountain and movie prop had to be destroyed.

Just wondering, does anyone know the extent of the damage to the electrical water pageant float?
