How do you like the ride Earthquake? Is it very exciting and fun or is it a bore and redundant? I personally find the start of it boring but when you get onto the subway, it then get's exciting. I really like the buildings coming toward you and all the water coming down. I find it really fun. What about you guys?

I kind of like the new pre-show vs the old one. Its a lot more modern, but I don't know if I would want to sit through it over and over before getting to do the ride. Before its change it was obviously dated (it didn't even really talk about the "digital-age" of special effects, now it at least does). The one thing that could be changed would be the U-571 part (if I'm remembering right). The movie is good, but not overly popular.
Otherwise, I think the ride itself is neat.

Meh the pre-show is okayyyy, but it doesn't get really fun until you're on the actual attraction!!

If they wanted to they could of figured out a way to expand.

My idea would be to keep the same premmis with the subway but make it longer and upgrade the track and vehicls to handel more of a coaster feel . ther idea is that you are traveling thru the tube between stations and you get jolted with tremmors and falling debres on the vehicle

I think Earthquake is a waste of space I agree with the fact this should have been taken out instead of Kong, however if they wanted a building large enough to incorporate the Mummy they should have left Kong and built a completely new building. Take out Earthquake and build a completly new dark ride perhaps an attraction called the Harry Potter Adventure!

Just make it Earthquake the ride...cut out the preshow and everything else except the ride. This was one of the first "Thrill Rides" I rode when I was a little girl.

I was looking forward to riding, and was really let down. As a whole, I was really let down by USF, and think that Disney overall is much, much better.
Ditto to Twister, what a letdown, Jaws,
T2 is great, Back to the future, ok, and MIB was awesome
All that said, I really don't think it is worth the $50 admission

If you havent ridden it yet then go......but i personally hate this ride.......
1- the preshow is horrible, way to long and pointless
2-the rides special effects are good, but it really isnt a ride you only move into the train station and back
3-the line is always long and its not worth the wait

You're right, Harry Potter is from WB, but in the early 90s USF had a Ghostbusters attraction, actually it was a show with actors and good special fxs as I recall, but the point is Ghostbusters are from Columbia Pictures (or should I say Sony?).
The same thing with Beetlejuice wich is from WB.
Who knows?, maybe in the future USF could have the rights to operate a Harry Potter attraction

I just walk on by unless my feet are truly killing me and the line is short. That line is always short...I don't think I've ever seen a wait time of more than 10 minutes, even in peak times.

Once you ride it for the third time it's like point less.

it's not a repeat and repeat and repaet kind of ride.

I guess the question is
HOW LONG WILL IT SURVIVE AFTER THE REVENGE OF THE MUMMY OPENS
