In yalls experience... how much can y’all ride on early magic hours at AK without fastpasses? How about other parks with early magic hours? What rides would you do on early magic hours w/out fastpass?

So first let me say that I do not tour commando style. I am not running from ride to ride at any time. lol. that being said we try of course to hit FoP first and then Navi river. If the park opens at 8 for EMH's those two definitely take up the hour to 9

Here are some Animal Kingdom EMH numbers from our visits since Avatar has opened:

-Avatar Flight of Passage, It's Tough To Be a Bug
-Avatar Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest 3 times
-Avatar Flight of Passage, Naavi River Journey
-Expedition Everest 2 times, Primeval Whirl, Dinosaur!
-Expedition Everest 2 times, Primeval Whirl, Safari

We have found that Safari, while often listed as an EMH attraction, doesn't always open with EMH and our usual planning now is to do other things during EMH and have an FP+ for the Safari just after regular opening time. Since Avatar has been opened, the lines for Expedition Everest during EMH are almost non-existent and the lines for Primeval Whirl and Dinosaur! ARE non-existent. We usually arrive about 30-45 minutes before EMH opening and twice have been already in the building for Flight of Passage when EMH officially starts. I think that at this point, if we can get Flight of Passage FP+ we will head to Asia/Dinosaur areas during EMH and then Safari right at regular opening.

At Magic Kingdom we pick either Tomorrowland or Fantasyland and do everything we can during EMH - usually 4-5 attractions depending on what we hit. If we go to Tomorrowland, we do Space Mountain and Buzz and then head to Fantasyland for a couple attractions. If we do Fantasyland it's Seven Dwarves followed by Peter Pan and Haunted Mansion. We tend to then move to Frontierland and do the mountains there right at regular opening OR head to Adventureland and do Pirates and Jungle Cruise right at regular opening. We book our FP+ for whatever section we didn't do at opening and try to make them for late morning/early afternoon so we can still leave the park around 2pm for a nap!

In Studios, Toy Story Land is definitely our current EMH goal as you can likely do all three attractions during that hour; however, I would expect you can do multiple rides on Rockin' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror during that hour since the crowd is heading to Toy Story. Nothing else in Studios is really going to get crazy lines, so we tend to use FP+ for those same attractions and just hit the other things when we have time.

Epcot EMH for us is Test Track followed by Soarin' and then whatever else we feel like doing; although last time we did Test Track and then Frozen and still got to Mission:Space before regular opening. Once regular opening hits we can pretty much do all the other attractions (except character meets) in an hour or so without using any FP+. If we are using FP+ in Epcot we tend to make them for later in the day after we have enjoyed some World Showcase time.

Many people call our style pretty insane, but we actually don't run around the parks to get to rides - we just make sure to plan things pretty extensively and have back up ideas when things go awry. We absolutely LOVE morning Extra Magic Hours in all the parks. We find that arriving a good half hour before the EMH opening will get us to at least 2 rides with almost no lines. Good luck planning!

Would you recommend getting a fp to Navi or fop

When we get in on EMH's we can usually get through 4 rides easily before the lines start building. In AK we might do less because of the distances between the rides. We plan on targeting the most popular attractions first because once guests arrive in mass you know they are headed to those first. In AK you should get a FP for FoP. In all the parks we arrange our top FP and still do them early so we are getting to experience them at least twice in the day.

I've done every open ride in MK during Extra Magic Hours. Everything was walk on.

AK is a different story because FOP always has a wait of at least 45 minutes. I did Navi and everything else besides FOP at AK during extra Magic.

Not sure how much longer HS will be letting folks in around 645, but if you are there at that time, you can get all 6 rides done in 1.5-2 hrs leaving time for rerides/shows relaxing for breakfast , etc

We did EMH in the morning at Animal Kingdom in March. The park opened at 7am. We had a FP for Flights of Passage later in the day so we didn't need to rush there. We took our time taking pictures of Pandora and just exploring since most of it was empty - with everyone else in line for FOP. We did Navi twice with no wait and explored the gift shop. By then the park had opened to everyone at 8am. Kilimanjaro Safaris wasn't open yet so my BIL/SIL waited in a long line for Starbucks. We actually didn't get that much accomplished because we were just taking it all in.

At Magic Kingdom, when EMH was 8-9am were were able to ride Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, we had breakfast, then used our FP for Jungle Cruise when the park opened for everyone. We had FP for later in the day for Seven Dwarfs so we didn't try to go to that one.

When we were there last November...We rope dropped an 8 am EMH at AK (we took the 7am bus from Pop). We got in at 7:45 rode Navi twice by 8:10 then did the following: Dino, Primevil x 2, Triceratops, Everest x 2, Safari and explored Pandora all before 9:30 (we had an afternoon FP+ for FoP).

With the Pandora draw, much of the rest of the park is nearly empty during EMH, or at least it was then.

As ambitious as this is, @analise please don't get your hopes up that you might accomplish this feat. There are currently over an hour and a half of rides open during morning EMH (just based on ride times, not allowing time to walk between them). And unless you are there during a truly empty time of year (are there any of these anymore?), not everything will be a walk-on. Seven Dwarves, Space Mountain, Peter Pan, and Buzz Lightyear tend to get at least short lines during EMH most times of year. And it is not good time management or planning to go on It's a Small World, Mickey's Philharmagic, TTA/Peoplemover or Carousel of Progress during EMH even though they are open (but if you wanted to, those four rides would take you almost exactly an hour if you hit start times just right for Philharmagic and Carousel - but don't!).
