Downtown Disney Parking and Traffic over the weekend was insanity

I find Disney to be too busy now. I almost started a thread about it but figured it was pointless. Anytime I go it's just too damn busy. I have an AP and luckily I've been so much that just a nice walk in nice weather will suffice but if I have visitors who want to go it's just unbearable. I remember slow times in fall and early winter and now it's just always packed to the point that the parks are simply not enjoyable.

At least Universal still has those trends and you can actually enjoy it without the insanity. Is it just me or do others feel like this?

Usually when we go, its early in the morning and the shops haven't opened yet. Easy to get a nice spot close and enjoyable to avoid the afternoon/night crowds.

Thinking might take off DTD for awhile next year and hopefully this doesn't impact morning crowds to much.
