Down rides tonight

No American/fireworks section of the MSEP tonight either. Anyone know why?

Still? It was missing from the 11PM showing on Saturday as well. Oy...

Last one was 5 years ago.

And it was pretty half-baked.

Incidentally, how moldy and peeling does Space Mountain need to get before Disney splurges for a couple cans of white paint? The view of SM from New Fantasyland is awful.

Test Track looked the same on Wednesday. It was down most of the morning due to rain, and when it opened back up the Fast Pass line extended well beyond the Que. Fortunately, my wife refuses to ride it, so single rider line for me! :D

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
and here's what happens - space mountain back up mine train down. This is the fastpass line FASTPASS LINE for space mountain now . Unreal

That's what happened to me and my friend using FP+ for Test Track when it closed down due to weather.. needless to say, it actually went by very fast for the length.

This is a lot long though, since I know how long the queue is for Space Mountain.. GEEZ.

It seems that more and more schools systems are having some sort of fall break, and everyone seems to have the idea to go to Disney World during the break. We did the same thing 5 years ago and it was more crowded than some of the early June trips we have taken. Factor in the Food and Wine, and everything else, and it gets crowded.

TTA seems to be a disaster since its refurb.

I was thinking about posting about this. We were on it last week. It basically continuously e-stopped throughout our ride. Finally they closed the ride and took everyone off who was in the loading area, but allowed those on the ride to make it back to the station (with frequent stops). As we came into the station, we collided with the car in front of us. Not hard enough to cause injury but it was a collision - loud plastic against plastic SMACK and everyone in both cars was rocked a bit. If someone had their hands between the cars they would have definitely been injured. Very sad state of affairs - and just one example of poor conditions we saw throughout the parks. :(

"Using the My Disney Experience planning page or mobile app, you can lock in some of your must-do attractions and entertainment experiences—so you can relax and enjoy the moment with your family." (Disney website)

Nothing about those FP queue photos looks relaxing to me :(

Fastpass has always created a traffic jam when rides return from being down though, this is not a new thing. I remember on multiple occasions seeing Everest's Fastpass line extend all the way to Nemo: the Musical, before FP+.

That's the problem when you have 75% of the ride's hourly capacity previously reserved to ride something that suddenly becomes unavailable. I also remember that with legacy Fastpass, WDW would continue to distribute Fastpass tickets for that attraction (although the return time would be bumped to later). What Disneyland does, and what is much smarter, is stop distributing Fastpasses altogether in the event of a ride downtime, because you never know how long the ride will be down. This means less of a bottleneck when the ride returns from the downtime.

Wow, seems like it was crazy at the MK. I just went in mid September and the crowds were decent but nothing like this. And there were definitely not as many ride closures. But seriously though, what's up with The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh? That ride has been breaking down a LOT more than usually lately.
