Let’s use this space to discuss, react to, praise, and inevitably complain about any DLR news at D23, if there even is any.
How are you guys feeling about the likelihood of this Tomorrowland redo?
I feel, and I think many agree, that it would be nice but it's hard to take the prospect seriously as it is sort of a perennial rumor. Not to mention that one of the big facets of this rumored redo is a new seating area. That said, we are two and a half years from Disneyland's next anniversary, so I'm hoping that they have more than a parade planned and this would be the expo for such an announcement. How are you guys feeling about the likelihood of this Tomorrowland redo?
Except it didn't occur on April 1, but in mid-June or something.Best case scenario - announcing that retrofitting splash mountain for a Tiana ride was just a belated April fools joke. Splash stays and Tiana gets a ride somewhere else

Excuse me? How can they possibly have budget for that after they tear down New Orleans Square to build every fan's dream location:I was told that Fantasyland was going to be demo'd and replaced with a Lightyear giant, RSR-scale ride even though no one liked the movie, I can't wait to see my dream confirmed at the Expo!!!
I’m not interested.Anyway, am I the only one who is most interested in Toontown? No one else seems to be all that interested in it. It's where Runaway Railway is going, you know.
Be prepared to show up early, depending on the panels you’d like to see. I’ve been to two Expos, the first one in 2009 and the second in 2011. 2011 was PACKED. I can only imagine what it’s like now.Excited for the Expo! It'll be my first.
Toontown has already been closed for a long time for the redo, no? Why would it not be happening? They’re working on it. Also, just because we’re not discussing it much here, it doesn’t mean the project has been cancelled. Is Toontown even happening anymore? I haven't anything about it, beyond just a small blurb that it might be mentioned. But the lack of concrete information, coupled with the indifference of everyone here, tells me that it may not be happening.
Please no joking non-answers, please, if you respond.
Well, you would think they would at least briefly mention Runaway Railway, if not Toontown, in the news articles I've read, but they're not. I haven't heard anything about it at all. I have my hopes up that they will mention something, but when they don't actually say anything in the announcements ahead of time, even just a brief blurb, that concerns me.Toontown has already been closed for a long time for the redo, no? Why, though? They are working on it.
