Disneyworld attractions vs. Disneyland attractions

Here are rides that are at both WDW and DLR. Which one do you think is the better one?

• Space Mountain - Disney Land - I like the seating much better.
• The Haunted Mansion- Disney World hands down. Even the queing area is better
• Pirates of the Caribbean - Disney Land by leaps and bounds. They have mermaids and much more!
• Star Tours - Disney World
• The castles (Cinderella's or Sleeping Beauty's) Very differernt and I love the fact you can walk thru Sleeping Beauty's Castle BUT, Cindy's is just grander.
• It's a Small World - Was closed in DL when I went...
• Big Thurnder Mountain Railroad was closed for refurb
• Splash Mountain - To cold for us in February

Cinderella Castle and Splash Mountain are better at WDW. The rest are better at DL (can't rate Star Tours at either location, makes me queasy.)

Tea Cups - DLR fun light system that flashes to the music

Winnie the Pooh - Equal

• The Haunted Mansion WDW Additional 2 Rooms (Library & Stair room)
• Pirates of the Caribbean DL (Longer Cave Sequence)
• Star Tours WDW Themed better
• The castles (Cinderella's or Sleeping Beauty's) WDW Cinderella Bigger, Better and Dominates the skyline
• It's a Small World DL for presentation reasons
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad TIE - Both are the same but, Mirrored
• Splash Mountain TIE Both are good.

• Space Mountain - I like DL better. Smoother track and it has audio. The Halloween overlay is nice too.
• The Haunted Mansion - WDW wins, but I like DL fascade better
• Pirates of the Caribbean - DL by a long shot
• Star Tours - exact same ride. Most of the queue is the same too.
• The castles (Cinderella's or Sleeping Beauty's) - Both a good fit for their parks, but WDW wins to me
• It's a Small World - DL wins for the fascade
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - essentially the same ride. Equal to me.
• Splash Mountain - WDW's for a more cohesive story.

• The Haunted Mansion - Hmmmm, hard to compare. DL has a New Orleans vibe which is really cool but I'd have to give the edge to WDW
• Pirates of the Caribbean - DL without a doubt. Until you go to DL, you'll never realize how inferior the two rides are compared to one another. In DL, there is a restaurant in the ride (similar to the Mexico pavillon) that takes place in the bayou complete with fireflies.
• The castles (Cinderella's or Sleeping Beauty's) - WDW-no question. DL is too small....
• It's a Small World - DL: One it starts outdoors and seems to incorporate water more. Plus, they have added Disney characters to the various scenes.
• Splash Mountain - WDW's for a more cohesive story.
• Pooh- WDW- I love the new queue and the DL version is in "Critter Country" and it just seems so random tucked in the corner by Splash.
• Splash Mt- Oh man- the ride is sooooooo fast in DL. I can't explain it. It's like a million miles an hour and it's all these chickens singing. It's like some kind of acid trip. WDW wins by a landslide.

Everything is better at WDW

(only because I haven't been to DL yet going next year though and can't wait! Haha)

Space Mountain - WDW. DL has nicer rockets, but the track itself is kind of bland. Throw in the post-ride thing at WDW, and WDW wins.

Haunted Mansion - WDW by an exceedingly tiny margin. WDW has the edge of two extra rooms (though most of the library ends up in the queue at DL anyway), but DL wins on exterior.

Pirates of the Caribbean - DL. The ride is twice as long. WDW has a better queue, which makes up for some of the extra length at DL, but you'd be crazy to vote WDW's over DL's.

Star Tours - WDW. Haven't been to DL's updated version, but WDW has better capacity.

Castles - Tie. WDW's is bigger, which is neat, but DL's is smaller, which is also good. You don't have to see a castle from Tomorrowland.

it's a small world - DL. Look at the exterior.

Big Thunder Mountain - I don't remember DL's well enough to choose either way.

Splash Mountain - I don't like water rides, so I haven't been on WDW's in a long time.

BONUS:

Tower of Terror - WDW. It's more or less Pirates of the Caribbean all over again, but backwards. DL's is an imitation with half of the ride missing.

Soarin' - DL. Nicer queue and shorter wait.

Toy Story Midway Mania - DL. The queue isn't as pretty, but you're not in it for as long.

• Space Mountain - WDW. Just seems a bit more extreme because DLR's is so much smoother.
• The Haunted Mansion - WDW. I haven't seen the DLR Christmas overlay and probably never will.
• Pirates of the Caribbean - DLR. Not even close. A few more scenes and the swamp with Blue Bayou.
• Star Tours - WDW just for the forest outside
• The castles (Cinderella's or Sleeping Beauty's) - No opinion
• It's a Small World - DLR because of the show building
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Both are amazing
• Splash Mountain - WDW. DLR was really uncomfortable and you get more soaked.

• Space Mountain - I don't really care for either, but I prefer DL's because it is smoother
• The Haunted Mansion - I prefer WDW's version because it is longer, you see more of the Mansion and I like the new HH ghosts.
• Pirates of the Caribbean - DL's version is better for me
• Star Tours - I like the outside of it at DHS, but otherwise, the ride is the same
• The castles (Cinderella's or Sleeping Beauty's) - Cinderella
• It's a Small World - DL's version
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - they are very similar, but DL's is the one I grew up with. WDW's version seems backwards to me because the things to see are on the opposite side.
• Splash Mountain m- WDW version hands down. Even though a lot of the AAs don't work, it tells the story much better.

• Space Mountain- Disney worlds, disneylands doesn't have that extreme flying out your seat factor
• The Haunted Mansion- Mhm well ours is nicer and longer but they get the nightmare before christmas overlay..So its disney world with an honorable close disneyland
• Pirates of the Caribbean-Disneyland allll day
• Star Tours-I like the que much better at DHS
• The castles (Cinderella's or Sleeping Beauty's)-Sleeping beauty's was walts but Cinderellas will always have a special place in my heart so Cindy
• It's a Small World- Disneylands
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad-Disney World
• Splash Mountain-Disney World

• The Haunted Mansion - Disneyland. Way better queue line to me and much better funneling into the doombuggies.
• Pirates of the Caribbean - Disneyland by 1000 miles. Twice as long and much better ride. Plus you float by the Blue Bayou!
• Star Tours - Only been to DL's version. Not big on simulators so can't say.
• The castles (Cinderella's or Sleeping Beauty's) - Disney World. Much bigger and more magical to me.
• It's a Small World - Disneyland by a landslide. Way better queue and all around experience.
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Close one, but I'd go with Disney World since you're right by the water.
• Splash Mountain - Never been.
