Do any of you wonder what are on those islands in the middle of the Seven Seas Lagoon at Walt Disney World? Well the answer is right below.
It was a hot July Trip and I was staying at the Polynesian Resort. I decided to take a day off from the parks to play and build sand castles on the beach at the Polynesian. I saw all these kids renting those little Water Mice boats at the Marina and they looked like a whole lot of fun.So I decided to rent one myself, for a little trek around the Seven Seas lagoon. Anyways I rented the boat and boy was the life jacket tight, so as soon as I left the marina I took the jacket off for a little more comfort. So I begain crusing around and I noticed how every one else was ripping right by me and they were going so much faster. I said to myself "Something has got to be wrong here", I then felt my feet getting a little bit wet and I noticed there was water leaking into the boat.I glanced down at a sticker on the boat and it said " Weight Capacity of 350 ibs Maximum" " this is not good at all" I said to myself. The boat was definently going under, and I did not have a life jacket on either. So I swan dived out of the boat and swam to the nearest piece of land. The land that I swam to was an island on the middle of the Seven Seas Lagoon. Any ways as soon as I got on shore I heard the sound of a Carribean Drum. I said to myself " Were the heck is that coming from" So I decided to explore the island a little. If any of you have ever studied the island you will notice that there is a group of large Cedar trees that surround it. Well as soon as I walked past the trees I saw the most beautiful Grotto Pool in my entire life.The landscaping around the pool was breath taking, it would make the Grand Floridian look like a motel 6. The pool lead up to a beautiful Victorian Style residence.
Any ways the sound of the drum was getting louder and louder, and it was coming from the backyard of the residence. I get to the backyard and there is a huge group of people around partying and having a great time. I got closer to the people and I realised these were not normal people, they were celebrty's. I saw Steve Urkel and MC Hammer playing lawn darts, John Stamos and Mr T playing Shuffleboard, and Geraldo( The guy who sang Rico Suave) and Corey Fieldman playing volley ball to name just a few. I then said to myself " This is an island resort filled with washed up celebrity's" I then felt a tap on my knee and I turned around and then looked down. " What you talking about, Speedo boy." There was Gary Coleman commenting about my comment"We are are not washed up, it is just a special island retreat for celbs going through tough times." I then stamered " Well I did not mean that you are washed up Mr Coleman" and Gary replied "You are alright Speedo Boy. hey how would you like to limbo with us." " It would be an honour Gary, I am excellent at doing the limbo." " Good" Gary piped back " the Champ needs some good competition." "Who is the Champ Gary" " You will see very shortly Speedo Boy, very shortly".
The competition then commenced and I was against Mr T in the first round. " I pity the foo who has to limbo aginst me" he decleared. Lucky for me is that Mr T was just all talk and very little action, I totally cleaned his clock. The next round was me against that guy who played the Karate Kid, he was no match for the Speedo man other. Then I was on to the Semi Finals, and out came Max Headroom, Max had to limbo the same song every time to get himself motivated. You know that song from Ferris Bullier" Oh owe owe Chicky Chicky" well the limbo stick got lower and lower and I must admit that Max was a great limbo'er but I finanlly prevailed and went on to the final to take on the champ.
Every thing then went silent and every one then got down on there knees to pay tribute to the champ. Anyways there was a cold chill that went through every one and all that could be heard was the sound of a gong drum declaring that the champ was coming. I saw the champion approaching the limbo area to take me on, and he was huge and even hairer then myself.I then realised that the champ was Chewboka the Wookie. I was very nervous and I just barly scraped by the first few rounds. The Wookie then wanted to take it one step furthur and lit the limbo stick on fire.I took the Wookie as far as he has ever gone before, and he knew I was serious competition to his crown. The Wookie had to pull out all the stops for me and fire was the only way.The Wookie then went for the limbo and he could not do it, the hairs on his body were catching on fire.It was up to me to limbo the stick of fire. Well I got under the stick and the fire was hot, I got lower then I have ever gotten in my entire life but the fire was still very intense. All of a sudden I felt something kinda of tear and I glanced over and noticed that the heat from the limbo stick had burned my Speedo off. I was very nervous now but some how I managed to clear. I was now the new champion of limbo on Disney's Island Of Washed Up Celberitys Resort.Every one was so excited and it took them a little while to realise that I was in the buff. Mr T then said " Hey Speedo Bob put some cloths on foo". I had even forgotten myself that I was naked because I was so happy that I was the champion.
The bad news was that I was only champion for one day. Emmanual Lewis( The Kid who played Webster) challenged me the next night and prevailed. Because I was not a washed up celebrity I was kicked off the island and was told to never return. It was certainly an experence of a life time and something that I will never forget.
