Soil erosion prevention work is underway on the Big Pine Trail sidewalk at Fort Wilderness Resort, running through mid-October 2026. Temporary detours may reroute your path in that area, though all dining and recreation remains accessible throughout.

Can’t say it doesn’t need it. There are areas between the Meadows and 1400 loop where the retaining walls are washing out.
