I'd like to start this project with a few disclaimers.
1. This is my first project so expect roughness and unrefined ideas
2. I'm very poor with photoshop and image making so often I will rely on preexisting artwork (always with credit).
3. This concept is heavily inspired by Parklore's Fantastic Worlds. An amazing and beautiful park concept I encourage everyone to go read through it. While I have many different lands and takes, the general concept of IP-based Islands of Adventure but Disney is very much still the framework for this park.
4. It's entirely implausible and not a realistic park just complete and total BlueSky.
5. I'm telling this story in a bit of an unconventional way, instead of just going land by land we will be going chronologically from its announcement through to its opening and (maybe) beyond. This means at least initially we'll have fake articles, news pieces, etc to flesh out the lore and concept before diving into the masterplan. This is intended to give some worldbuilding and lore tidbits to add some context to the timeline.

With all that said welcome to

The Walt Disney Company Announces Brand New Theme Park for Walt Disney World
(CNN) — There's a new theme park coming soon to Florida, and this one promises to be fantastic.

The Walt Disney Company (DIS +2.7) announced plans for an ambitious new theme park in the Sunshine State today. This massive new park, experience, and hotel complex is expected to be the largest project the company has taken on since Shanghai Disneyland back in 2016. Expected to be the biggest theme park in Disney’s Florida stable, the announcement of this new park, called Disney’s Fantasy Realms, comes just one year after the startling success of competitor Universal’s Epic Universe just down the street. CCO Josh D’Amaro said Fantasy Realms represented “the biggest leap in themed storytelling the company has ever seen” while CEO Mark Parker called it the “biggest investment into the Parks division in Disney history”. While Disney is keeping a close lid on exactly what rides, lands, and experiences will be present at Fantasy Realms they promise more announcements are to come in the following months.

At more than 800 acres, the new park, experience, and hotel district dwarves its sister EPCOT just across World Drive.

Disney officials said the new park is also a win for the local economy. The company plans to hire an additional 14,000 employees to staff the park as well as new hotels, shops, and entertainment venues. Disney of course is the largest employer in the area, with more than 70,000 employees.

The company declined to provide an opening date for the park, but industry estimates place the opening of the park almost half a decade away in 2030.

Disney has been busy the last couple of years in Orlando opening a Moana land at their Animal Kingdom Park as well as a Zootopia attraction which opened just last month. However, fans of Walt Disney World don’t have to wait until 2030 for new attractions. As the “Beyond Big Thunder” expansion at sister park Magic Kingdom plans to open its doors in 2028 featuring attractions based on Encanto, Disney Villans, as well as new restaurants based on classic attractions such as the Haunted Mansion.

Interesting way of unveiling it, I've never heard of anyone presenting it in that manner. Sounds like some nice out of the box ideas.

Good Luck, I can't wait to see what you've got.

I wonder which Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars (Unless adding more of Lucasfilm IPs), and 20th Century Studios (not counting The Simpsons) would be in this park?

SHOCKER: Disney Reacquires Marvel Theme Park Rights in Orlando, Expected to Feature Brand in New Park Fantastic Worlds.
Burbank, CA and New York, NY, February 20th 2026—

In what can only be described as a shocking turn of events the Walt Disney Company has announced the reacquisition of Marvel’s huge stable of IP east of the Mississippi. Having reached a deal for an undisclosed (but likely enormous) sum with competitor Universal the Mouse House is now ready to bring their vision of Marvel to the Orlando area.

Rumors on the future of Marvel at Universal Parks have been swirling for years now but with the closing of Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Universal Japan (due to the end of its separate contract) Universal has apparently decided to move in a different direction. For its part, it seems Universal Creative has decided to re-theme Spider-Man and its surrounding area to Pokémon (more specifically Detective Pikachu) in Japan. With this announcement, it appears something similar will happen in Orlando. Sources also report that as a part of the deal, Universal has been granted an extension for its rights to the Simpsons, as well as the option to build additional Simpsons attractions.

Disney for its part has now confirmed a Marvel presence at their newly planned Fantasy Realms and importantly hinted that there could even be more than one Marvel Land at Walt Disney World. (X-men, Wakanda, Ta-Lo, who knows?!?) Industry Insiders also indicate that Avengers Campus, the Marvel presence at California and Paris, is not likely to make its way to Orlando, with an all-new land apparently being on the horizon. Fantastic Realms has no planned launch date but is expected before 2031. Disney promises more concrete details at this year's D23 in September.

Screamscape Fantasy Realms

03/20/26 - It’s only been three months since Disney announced the long fabled 5th gate at WDW and speculation has been rife about what to expect. With that in mind we thought it might be fun to collect the rumors and murmurs we’ve been hearing from our sources these past couple months all in one blog post. So without further ado here we go. Screamscape sources have indicated that this park will be heavily IP focused with at least one land dedicated to Marvel, Pixar, and Disney Animation respectively. Individual details are still scarce but expect at least an attraction (if not more) based on the fictional nation of Wakanda. In the realm of Disney animation expect a modern classic to get the land treatment. Big Hero 6, Frozen, and Tangled are all apparently in the running. With upcoming sequels to both Frozen II and Tangled on the way it’s no surprise they make the shortlist. Pixar on the other hand has been much quieter. There have been reports for the last couple years that DCAs Cars Land would finally migrate over to WDW. These rumors, largely centered around Hollywood Studios, have quieted down over the last 2 years. Perhaps the plan has shifted over to this new gate? Still a newly conceived land could edge it out as we have also heard the Incredibles are high on the wishlist for Imagineers. This too would be textbook Disney synergy as Incredibles III is sure to light the box office on fire when it releases next summer. Just three months out from its announcement it’s clear there is still a lot of guessing left for what will make it into Fantasy Realms. Though we’ll leave you with one last, confirmed, development. Disney is taking a page out of Universal's playbook and double dipping in immersive lands in more than one park. What land that might be is sure to be announced at this years D23 but rest assured the reveal isn’t far, far away……

Here is my idea for beating Fantasy Realms:

Screamscape Fantasy Realms

3/30/26 - There is a rumor that Warner Bros. Discovery is making a new theme park called Warner Bros. World Orlando in Central Florida aka Orlando for Warner Bros IPs such as Looney Tunes, Lord of the Rings, DC Comics, Cartoon Network, Hanna-Barbera, Mad Max, Harry Potter (which will connect to between Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida), The Wizard of OZ, Gremlins and more. Disney was been worried that things will going hayward as the Warner Bros. theme park will opening in 2032 which will make ever hard for Fantasy Realms that Disney could beat both Universal and Warner Bros. Discovery becaus there will be two rivals can reach its powerful challenge to have the battle for better attractions, we don't know what means for the future of Disney that Fantasy Realms could have Marvel attractions to be most popular to beat WB World Orlando's DC Comics attractions when it will opening in 2032. No one will believe what this beings to both rivals between Disney's Fantasy Realms and Warner Bros. World Orlando.
Mickey Mouse must gonna beat Bugs Bunny into the grounds of the Hollywood battle, t-t-t-t-that's all folks!
