Disney's All Star Resort Refurbishments

My cousin told me that in October, Disney's All Star Movies and Sports Resorts will be closed for refurbishments. This did not seem right to me because I don't think Disney would close an entire resort(especially a value resort). I thought they just closed certain parts at a time. Does anyone have any information about this, or even if it is true?

That sounds a little extreme to close two entire value resorts at one time, especially since Columbus day is the second week in October. That is usually a pretty busy time. I could see them closing a few buildings at a time in one of the resorts. Maybe that is what they are doing and the work is starting in October.

Anyone else have more details?
