I think it's because they said it was a club for true Disney fans or something like that. Not that they said you weren't a true fan, if you didn't join.

Thing is, I've never seen anywhere that anyone at Disney said that. I have seen "Official Community for Disney Fans" and that D23 Expo will be "The Ultimate Experience for Disney Fans", but I haven't seen anything about "true Disney fans" mentioned anywhere other than these forums... Certainly nothing from Disney. Please feel free to prove me wrong.

what is the point of this group really? is there a plan to have fan events and such? or is it just to contradict D23? just curious....
