Disney World Shopping Center

Hi all... A little embarrassed to ask since I have not been as Gung Ho as I used to be on here due to travel for my job.... BUT

Wasn't there a lot of talk in here a few years back about some tacky shopping center that Disney was going to open on the west end of their property that would have a supermarket, gas station, etc....


Did it ever get built and where is it????

Flamingo Crossings. Essentially an abandoned building site to the west of the property. The infrastructure and roads are all in place as there is a road called Flamingo Crossings Boulevard but there is nothing there but a stretch of road. Most of the features for it have now been transferred to Disney Springs.
