Disney World Adventures will be a new interactive role-playing system that let's guests of the five parks of WDW set off on their very own adventure. the program has two main categories, the first is the Single park RP where guests are treated to speicific challenges during their stay at a particular park:
Magic Kingdom - Mickey's Magic Kingdom Mystery
-Aided by a special "camera", Guests must find hidden clues located all over the Magic Kingdom's attractions and areas to figure out what had happened to Tinker Bell. Guests must use their "camera" to take photos of the specific items that are described in the clues that are given to them by CM's stationed at various parts of the park. If guests complete the clues with all of the photos, they will receive a special prize.
EPCOT - Time Racers: World Showcase Challenge
-Also using the camera system, Guests race against time around World Showcase figuring out clues describing specific photo spots around the many countries. However, in this little game, you're not only going to take pictures, you're actually going to participate in challenges that are themed to customs and traditions of the country in which you are in. From dancing in public to eating things you normally wouldn't.
Disney-MGM Studios - Road to Stardom
-Guests become "stars" in this rp as they are armed with video cameras that they will use to document their rise to fame as they go on the many attractions of the studios. Theya re also given cell phones which are to be the main link between them and their agent who will tell them what their next task should be as stars (which attraction they must go to next). At the end of the day, the players will be treated to an "Awards" show where he/she might win a Golden Mickey. By the way every cast member will know if you're a player and if youa re, they will automatically assume roles that will make the experience feel even more real.
Disney's Animal Kingdom - Picture Safari
-Animal Kingdom is full of animals, if you are given a list of animals you MUST find, can you find them all? That is what Picture Safaris dares guests to do, armed with their special camera (with a film limit that requires guests to strategize), the AK guests must be able to locate and capture on film, all the animals that are in the list given to them at the beginning of their visit. Guests who complete their lists will win a prize and have their photos featured in AK's nighttime show. Of course this isn't an easy task as there are animals that can only be caught with very keen eyes during the attractions (and that includes the Yeti
) Other animals on the list can only be found in the Tree of Life (the carvings) or in character form (The Lion King). Each animal on the lsit comes with a riddle about where to find them.
The second incarnation of this program makes use of the existing pin collecting program and will require both park hopping and visitor interaction.
