With the ridiculous rents & high cost of living down in Central Fla, I don't know how they do it with their current pay rate. Sure the CP's, retirees, and young adults still living at home can get by, but for your average Joe Worker trying to make a living in the area, I don't see how it can be done.

I hope something changes to better help all the men & women who go above & beyond to make our vacations special.

I hope those guys get everything they want. CMs are so crucial to the guest experience at the Disney parks, and yet the pay they receive in return is an insult. Plus it guarantees a high turnover, which means that experienced workers take their people skills elsewhere, which is Disney's loss IMO (and the guests' too). Hope the union hangs tough. We'll see what happens...

I'd gladly take a hit in stock price and profits to see front-line folks compensated better. Happy, experienced cast members= better guest experience and stronger company in the long-run. In the grand scheme of things it wouldn't cost The Company much at all. Go Union!
