Universal totally missed the boat on enforcing social distancing that way. They should have had someone made up as Umbridge doing the enforcement.

I'd be more excited to see these taken down more than I am about masks outside.
I think removing them will be a low priority. But I don’t see them adding more that’s for sure.

Lots of recycling efforts by Disney - plexiglass . Plexiglass companies need to diversity to look for more business.
Then theme parks (movie theaters or concerts) aren’t for you.For the most part I like people too but just not on top of me!! Nothing makes me more anxious than the funnel line from the stretching room to the Doom buggies. I am so afraid I am going to get separated from my party and have to ride by myself!

They will be relieved. There are plenty of uses for plexiglass and acrylic products - many of the manufacturers had to stop what they were already doing in order to provide for the new national need for it. It's been very difficult to get for other uses because of the shortage.
The company I was working for at the beginning of the pandemic was trying like crazy to secure display trays to put in grocery stores but no one would make a deal with us. Everyone was paying through the nose for plain rectangles and no one had capacity for competitive bids for intricate trays. So yes there will be a backlog of business (and I believe a lot of that backlog has been clearing up for a while) but the margins will return to meager.
