People need to know that WDW themselves will update the website and that they will contact people with reservations and deuces changes and reschedule options. Don’t always believe media, call Disney Vacation Specialists.

If WDW opens fully April 1, 2020, I'll buy everyone who likes this post a beer at the Office Bar in Norwalk, OH.

Based on what I've heard from an immediate family member who works in a major component of the most popular tourist destination in the U.S., I'm predicting late July-early August. And I'm also predicting staggered re-openings of parks, restaurants, and resorts.*

*I have no insider Disney connections (obviously!).

It’s not going to be that long.

Predicting anything when there is absolutely no clue as to how the health risk is gonna play out is like predicting which kitten would win a steeplechase...

I have not the faintest clue...my opinion has the same merits of anyone else’s right now.

There is just no way to predict this right now...assuming that Disney hasn’t all of a sudden become risky as all hell.

I think the parks reopening on April 1st has about the same chances of the 5th gate opening on Feb. 30th...not happening.

I don't think the parks will be opening April 1 what do I base this on-- absolutely nothing just a guess. Things with the covid -19 change to rapidly to make any reliable prediction.

But it provides a diversion...and that’s what most posters are after.

Very few HARD FACTS can be gleaned these days.

Consensus is probably that the closings will continue...but it’s fun to postulate anyway.
