Disney Wild About Safety Returns: Timon and Pumbaa Lead Refreshed Safety Initiative​

The Wild About Safety program is back, with Timon and Pumbaa returning as the faces of a refreshed safety education effort spanning Disney's theme parks, resorts, and cruise ships. The updated version includes new character artwork, revised activity books, tip cards, and videos — building on a program that has run since 2003 and claims to have reached more than a billion children and families.

I like this series. Cool to see it back, but I don’t get the angle here. FM Global is a huge player in the commercial markets, not sure about this audience. I’d bet they have some level of involvement at WDW and it might stem from that?

Either way, cool to see back.

Agreed. It’s nice seeing Renaissance era characters included in new things instead of just current IP exposure. They’re iconic

Great for kids as they are young and impressionable. As for adults, many, many, many, many guests could use a refresher. Like don't climb up the Mayan pyramid in Epcot, jump out of the Living with the Land boat to get a cucumber, or hop out of the Safari vehicle to relieve yourself.
